Rihanna for River Island preview

Grafton street was hopping on Monday night with an exclusive preview of Rihanna’s long awaited collection for the brand. It had been received with mixed reviews since its launch at London Fashion week, but I have to say in person it definitely redeems itself.

The collection is full of staple pieces with a difference, think simple sports luxe but with interesting detail and very wearable. I loved the cut out back detail that seems to run through a lot of the collection. Check out the black crop top below they are available in a few different colours and would look amazing with a long fitted skirt as they were styled for the show. 

The collection is quiet monochrome with black and white stripes to be seen in a few bra tops and light blouses. An eye catching bright yellow dress and crop top really stood out against the other simple black and white pieces, and all of them amazing quality as one would expect from River Island. 

These boots are amazing!! I would die for these!! 

These black leather caps with motif were a popular purchase on the night. The shoes most models were wearing in the fashion show launch had to be my favourite piece from the whole collection, edgy with a high platform. If my funds would allow these would be a new addition to my wardrobe.
